DOUGLAS Art Prints ®
Archival Print Quality

• Hahnemühle 100% cotton rag - Designed with the most discerning of users in mind, these grades of Fine Art paper can be used to create limited editions, giclees, original digital art, photo production, historic photo reproduction, or any print where a quality look and feel are required.

The papers are produced in strict accordance with DIN6738/ ISO9706 specifications for archive grade paper, are 100% acid free with a neutral pH that can withstand the tests of time over "several centuries".

• UltraChrome inks - Deliver archival results with a lightfastness rating of up to 108 years for color prints, and up to 140 years for black and white (B&W) prints.

• 100 Plus Years and Why Should You Care? - You may not even consider having an art print for more than 5 years let alone 100 years. We think it is important to consider for a couple of reasons.

If our art prints become collectible, which might well mean I am dead, the fact that your print hasn't yellowed, faded or deteriorated could mean the difference in its value as a collectible. If our prints become collectible our prints can be passed on to the next generation and continue to grow in value. Grow in value because of the archival quality materials it is made from.

The other important aspect of our archival quality materials is the family heirloom. If properly displayed that art print that is displayed in your home could well be displayed in a great grandchild's home to remember you. A family heirloom.

The only reason to buy or invest in any art is because you like the art. The archival quality of all of the DOUGLAS Art Prints® is simply an added benefit that could be most appreciated after we are both gone. We think an important benefit. That is why we do it.
